Sound Addiction is a Los Angeles–born rock project rooted in the streets of Highland Park, shaped by brotherhood, rebirth, and a lifelong devotion to sound. The band officially formed in 2020, but its seeds trace back to the years when Erik “Totti” Petriccioli — after the end of his former band Sueño Eterno in 2016 — found himself creating mostly dark demos and covers, unsure whether music still had a future for him.

Everything changed when Erik’s younger brother Omar, eleven years his junior, began playing piano. His natural brilliance — a rare mix of instinct, sensitivity, and genius-level musical intuition — awakened something that Erik thought had died. What started as simple sessions at home soon grew into a new creative identity. Together, they released their debut EP, “Echoes,” in 2020, a raw and hopeful statement marking the birth of Sound Addiction.

The next evolution came through a familiar face: David Caballero. Erik and David met in the 7th grade, grew up playing music together, and formed a high school band long before Sound Addiction existed. After drifting in different directions for years, they reunited in 2019 — a reconnection that felt effortless and destined. David’s professionalism, musical precision, deep groove, and natural talent elevated the project instantly. His openness, positivity, and creative instincts became essential to the band’s new identity.

By early 2023, David officially joined the group, solidifying a lineup built on trust, history, and artistry. Soon after, drummer Nestor Flores added his explosive and versatile energy, powering the band through two strong years of live performances across Los Angeles — including the House of Blues Foundation Room, The Mint, and The Pour House, while releasing singles and the EP “Entre Sombras y Deseos.”
Though Nestor is no longer part of the band, his contributions remain an important and respected part of Sound Addiction’s story.

Today, Erik, Omar, and David move forward as a united creative trio, entering a new era defined by intimacy, experimentation, and atmosphere. Omar’s dreamlike keys and guitar work — both brilliant and unconventional — blend seamlessly with David’s steady groove and refined musicality. Together with Erik’s voice and vision, the band now explores a softer but emotionally rich world: acoustic guitars, drum machines, layered harmonies, and open, honest songwriting.

This is Sound Addiction’s most authentic chapter yet — relaxed, positive, expressive, and fully alive.
